Delete Your Account

What is deleted, what is kept by legal obligation, what happens to your subscription and credits, and what to do before confirming.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no grace period or account "deactivated for a few days": when you confirm, the data is erased.

Before deleting

Three things you can't undo afterwards:

  1. Unused credits disappear and are not refunded automatically. If you have a purchase within the 7-day window, open the refund request first.
  2. Your exercises, classes, and walls are deleted along with the account. Save what you want to keep.
  3. Your students lose access to the material from those classes.

How to delete

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to the bottom of the page, in the danger zone, and click Delete my account.
  3. Read the warning: "This action is irreversible. All your data will be permanently lost."
  4. Confirm with Yes, delete.

If you have an active subscription, it's cancelled in the process. Deletion is only completed if that cancellation succeeds — if it fails, nothing is erased and Nivo tells you to try again or contact support. It's deliberate: nobody should end up with their account deleted and billing still active.

What is deleted

Profile, exercises, games, classes, links, texts, enrollments, wall posts (yours and ones you received), responses, assignments, usage and visit logs, subscriptions, credit purchases, and credit transactions. Open credit reservations are reversed first.

What is kept, and why

  • An anonymized financial record of the account, if there were paid purchases or subscriptions: dates, amounts paid and refunded, transaction identifiers. No name, no email, no free text. It's a financial and tax requirement.
  • The internal AI cost history stays, disconnected from you.
  • At Stripe, the records of payments, charges, refunds, and disputes continue to exist, also by tax obligation. Your customer data at Stripe is deleted.

Your rights

Deletion is one of the rights set out in privacy law (including GDPR). For the others — access, correction, portability — use support within the platform or the contact listed in the Privacy Policy.

Tip: just want to stop paying? No need to delete your account. Cancel your subscription: billing stops at the end of the cycle and your material stays there.
