Invite Students to the Class

Every student joins the class on their own — you don't need to register anyone. Just provide the code, link, or QR code.

Where the invites are

Open the class, go to the Students tab and click Add student. The menu has:

• Show class code — the 6 digits, with a Copy button.
• Copy invite link — a short address that enrolls anyone who opens it.
• Show QR code — the same thing as an image, to project in the classroom.

The invite link also appears fixed at the bottom of the Students tab, in the Invite Link block.

How the student uses the code

1. They create an account (or log into the one they already have) and change their profile to Student in Settings → Profile Type.
2. On the student dashboard, they click Join a class.
3. They type the Class code and click Join class.

They can type with or without spaces — Nivo cleans it before checking.

How the student uses the link or QR

They open the link. If they're already logged in, they join the class right away and land on the wall. If not, Nivo asks for login first and then does the enrollment automatically — even if they create the account at that moment.

What to expect

• Enrollment is immediate: there's no approval queue.
• If the student is already in the class, they see "You are already in this class." and nothing is duplicated.
• If the class is archived or inactive, the invite doesn't work.
• Teacher accounts don't enter as a student in a class.

Note: the Invite by email option exists in the menu, but is disabled with the "Coming soon" label. For now, share the code or link via the channel you already use with your class.
