How to open an account, what comes with the 500 free credits, and how to choose between teacher and student profile.

Creating an account takes less than a minute and doesn't ask for a credit card. Every new teacher account receives 500 free credits, granted only once, for you to try out the tools before deciding anything.
How to create
- On the home page, click Start Free.
- Fill in Full Name, Your best email, and Create a password (use at least 8 characters).
- Check the box accepting Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Click Start Free.
Done: you go straight to the dashboard. There's no confirmation email to click.
If you prefer, use Sign up with Google — in that case there's no password to create.

Teacher or student?
Every new account is born as a Teacher, because it's the teacher who creates the material. If you joined to answer someone else's activities, change your profile in Settings → Profile Type, choosing Student.
The student profile doesn't receive the 500 credits: the teacher always pays for content generation.
The 500 free credits
- They are granted once per account, at creation. Anyone who already used the free period won't get them again, even if they cancel and come back.
- They don't expire and don't renew: when they run out, you choose between a one-time reload or a monthly plan.
- They're enough to generate, for example, 50 ABCD question exercises (10 credits each).

If you received a class invite
When you open an invite link before having an account, Nivo saves the invite and shows a notice on the signup screen. As soon as the account is created, you join the class and land on its wall.
