Create a Class
How to open a class, what each field means, and what to do when it ends: archive, deactivate, or delete.
Updated on
A class is where you bring together students and content. Without a class you can still send activities by link, but it's inside the class that you have the wall, units, and tracking for each student.
Step by step
- In the sidebar, open Classes and click New Class.
- Class Name (required): use something you recognize in the list, like "Advanced English - B2". The name must be unique among your classes.
- Description / Schedule (optional): "Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm", for example.
- Description (optional): a paragraph about the class's goal.
- Identification Color: choose from 7 colors. It's just to help you recognize it at a glance.
- Click Create Class.
The class is born active and already has a 6-digit code for students to join.
What's inside the class
- Wall: announcements, files, links, and videos for everyone — and an individual wall per student.
- Units: folders to organize content into modules or weeks.
- Students: the list of enrolled students, the class code, the invite link, and the QR code.
- Settings: turn the class on/off, archive or delete.
When the class ends
You have three paths, from lightest to most final:
- Active Class turned off — students stop accessing the content, but nothing is lost.
- Archive Class — the class leaves your main list and can be restored later.
- Delete Class Permanently — erases everything: enrollments, wall, and items. Can't undo.
Note: there isn't (yet) a button to remove a specific student from a class. If you need to remove someone from the group, the current way is to deactivate or archive the class and create another with the right students.
