Your First Exercise
From a blank title to an activity ready for the student: how to create the exercise, add tools, and generate content.

An exercise in Nivo is an activity sheet: you choose the topic, fit in one or more tools, and the AI generates the content. Each tool you add becomes a block inside the exercise.
Step by step
- On the dashboard, click Create Exercise (or use one of the quick creation cards on the dashboard, which already opens the builder with the chosen tool).
- Give it a Title — it's just for you to organize; the student sees the cover title.
- Choose the Content language: English, Portuguese (Brazil), or Spanish. It's the language the AI will write in, not the dashboard language.
- Click Create and Start Building.
- In the builder, click Add Your First Tool and choose one from the list.
- Fill in the block form (text, topic, level, number of questions — depends on the tool) and click Abracadabra ✨.
- Wait a few seconds. The result appears where the form was.
To add more activities to the same sheet, click Add Tool and repeat. There's no general "save" button: each block saves itself.
Try before you build
This is the result of Create ABCD Questions from Text. It's the same component your student will see — answer and click submit to check the grading.

Paste a text and receive 1 to 10 multiple-choice questions with four options and answer key, auto-corrected.
Create a Text on Any Topic with Your Vocabulary
Writes a reading text on the topic you ask for, at the level and genre you choose, using the words your class needs to practice.
Fill in the Gap
You choose which words become gaps in your text, and the student gets an exercise with a word bank and auto-correction.
After generating
In the More options menu of each block you can:
- Regenerate — get a new result with the same form. Costs credits again.
- Edit Result — adjust the questions by hand, for free (available in question tools).
- Show in Lesson — decide if that block appears to the student.
- Version X of Y — in tools that keep versions, the arrows go back to a previous result.
Add a cover (title, description, level, image) to make the activity look good, and then use Assign to choose who gets it.
Note: the AI makes mistakes. Read the result before sending it to the class — it's faster to fix one word here than explain it in class.
Credits: if generation fails, credits go back to your balance automatically. The error message says so on screen.
