Results and Review
How to read the results screen, what each status means, where to grade and give feedback, and how guest responses appear.

The Student Results screen is the tracking dashboard for an exercise. You reach it through the button with the same name in the builder.
What each status means
The Status column summarizes where each student stopped:
- Not started — they have access but haven't opened it.
- In progress — they started answering and haven't finished.
- Submitted — they finished the activity.
- Awaiting review — they finished and there's something that depends on you (an open question without a grade, or feedback not yet released).
The Score column shows the grade. In exercises set to After teacher review, the grade only appears after you release it.
Grade and give feedback
Click View on the student's line. If the exercise is set to After teacher review, the Teacher Review panel appears:
- Block Score — accepts decimals, limited to that block's maximum points.
- Teacher Feedback — one comment per response.
- General Comment (optional) — a message at the end.
- Save Review — saves everything without showing anything to the student.
Then the Student Feedback switch releases it (and if you turn it off, it hides again).
Responses that came from the public link
Anyone who responded without an account appears in the same list, with the Guest badge and the label "Response via public link". The name shown is what they typed on the identification screen; if they didn't type anything, it says Anonymous Participant.
These responses are graded the same way as enrolled students'.
Close the exercise
When you're done, use Mark as Completed. Nivo confirms first, warning that the exercise will be marked as completed even if not all students have been graded.
Tip: grade in batches by block, not by student. Opening the same block from multiple students in sequence keeps the criteria much more consistent.
